Day 01: Arrival at Bangalore, Bangalore to Mysore enroute Srirangapatna (170 Kms/ 3 to 4 hrs)-
On arrival at Bangalore, proceed towards Mysore enroute Srirangapatna- an island in the river Kaveri which is considered auspicious and religious. Visit Dariya Daulat Bagh- beautiful gardens in the Dariya Daulat Palace, also known as the Summer Palace. This Palace is made of teakwood. Later visit Srirangapatna Fort- famous for its religious significance. Further proceed towards Mysore. On arrival at Mysore, check-in at a hotel and rest of the day at hotel for overnight stay.
Day 02: Mysore City Tour-
After breakfast, visit Brindavan Gardens- built across River Kaveri. Then, visit St. Philomena’s Church Mysore- a Catholic church built in honour of St. Philomena in 1936. Then, visit Mysore Palace- a historical palace that is the official residence of the royal family that ruled Mysore from 1399 to 1950. Overnight stay at hotel.
Day 03: Mysore to Nagarhole National Park (70 Kms/ 1 to 2 hrs, one way)-
Early morning, after breakfast, proceed towards Nagarhole. On arrival, proceed towards Nagarhole National Park- a UNESCO World Heritage Site. This National Park also offers morning and evening wildlife safari to witness dense forest which is a natural habitat for such species. Rejoice the diverse wildlife by undertaking an morning wildlife safari. Diverse species like Bengal Tiger, Asiatic Wild Dogs, Golden Jackals, Four- Horned Antelopes are found here. Rejoice the various kinds of flora and fauna. Undertake an evening wildlife safari since it is a best way to explore the National Park to add on the adventure experience. Enjoy the Wildlife Film along with the camp fire that the Park offers. Return to the hotel at Mysore for overnight stay.
Day 04: Mysore City Tour-
After breakfast, proceed for a full day sightseeing at Mysore. Visit Chamundeshwari temple- also known as ‘Shakti Peeth’ or ‘Durga’ to study the ancient architecture of Hinduism. Then visit Mysore Zoo- one of the popular attractions of Mysore. It has around 170 species and spread across 157 acres of land. In the evening visit Karanji Lake- where various varieties of birds are also found. One can also experience this place as an ideal place as it has kids play area, garden, boating and bird watching areas. Return to the hotel for overnight stay.
Day 05: Mysore to Ooty (140 Kms/ 2 to 3 hrs)-
After breakfast, checkout from the hotel and proceed towards Ooty- a very popular tourist spot among the hill stations that is also known as ‘Scotland of Karnataka’. On arrival check-in at a hotel. Rest of the day at leisure for comfortable overnight stay.
Day 06: Ooty City Tour-
After breakfast, proceed to visit Botanical Garden, that lies on the lower slopes of Doddabetta Peak and covers around 22 hectares of area. The garden is divided in to various sections and has a layout of terraced design. The Garden has thousands of Exotic and Indigenous tree species. Witness the various kinds of Flora and Fauna spread across the Garden. Later visit Doddabetta Peak- the highest mountain around the Nilgiri. One might love to see the reserved forest area around the peak. It has a road access to summit where one can have a mesmerizing view from the top. Return to the hotel for overnight stay.
Day 07: Ooty Wildlife Tour-
After breakfast, proceed towards Deer Park- a park located on the edge of the Ooty Lake. Different species of Deer- Sambhar and the Chithal are found here. Apart from deer, the Deer Park is an abode of various varieties of birds, hares and rabbits. Later visit Ooty Lake- covers an area of 65 acres. It is the main tourist attraction for the visitors as ‘The Boat House’ situated next to the lake provides boating facilities to the tourists. Return to the hotel for overnight stay.
Day 08: Village Tour from Ooty-
After breakfast, visit a tribal village- a pastoral community occupied by Todas. Learn the daily activities of the tribes by interacting with the tribal people. They live mainly on small agriculture and Dairy. The Todas are expert in handicraft and hand-made architecture. You may also like to shop the colourful hand-woven shawls, hand-knitted table covers, cotton covers etc by the local people of the village. Later visit Vittoba Temple – a traditional tribal temple worshipped by the village people where one can witness the art and craft of the tribal people. After exploring such a beautiful tribal village, return to the hotel for overnight stay.
Day 09: Ooty to Bangalore (100 Kms/ 3 to 4 hrs)-
After breakfast, checkout from the hotel and proceed towards Coimbatore Airport/ Railway Station with memories
